Working at Enteractive as Junior Account Manager
Ciara Murray is Enteractive’s Junior Account Manager. Recently celebrating her two year work-iversary, she’s looking back at her time at Enteractive, her professional growth, and what the future holds for her.
Ciara is originally from Dublin, Ireland, where she lived with her Australian partner. When he got a job opportunity in Malta, Ciara did her research on the island and was keen to move to the sunny destination as well in 2019. Their moving process was a unique one – driving from Dublin to Malta in their little Toyota IQ! This way, they could bring their car and had a lovely 10 day trip through Europe just after Christmas.
Ciara was working in the finance industry for a few years, and started in a similar role on the island. However, being interested in the iGaming industry she was looking to take her career on a different path. That’s when she came across the Business Admin role at Enteractive. It played into her experience and was a great introduction to the industry. A year later, Ciara moved to the Junior Account Manager role at Enteractive.
Her daily activities at Enteractive include dealing with clients to make sure they are happy with our services, and seeing how Enteractive can grow and optimise partnerships. As an Account Manager, she’s in between the clients and B2B Sales teams, IT teams, and other relevant departments. Anything the client needs or Enteractive needs from the client is sorted out by Ciara and her colleague Irina.
Switching roles within the company has come with a change of responsibilities. Starting as Business Admin, Ciara was dealing with all the contracts and paperwork for the B2B sales team and helping them out wherever needed. As she became more familiar with the Enteractive product and the industry, she gradually started to take on more responsibility and dealing with clients directly.
According to Ciara, not only her actual role has changed, but also the B2B team has changed since she started working at Enteractive. “The team has grown a lot and has also become more structured. The product itself has evolved and we’ve opened a lot more markets, which means our roles have evolved too.” Ciara describes the team environment as very easygoing. Even though they all have their targets to reach and push each other to do better, it’s a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable to be yourself.

Looking back at her first day at Enteractive in the middle of the hot Mediterranean summer, quite a few people were on holiday and the company was quite a bit smaller too. She remembers thinking it seemed like a really relaxed and fun environment, with everyone being very nice and welcoming.
This doesn’t just apply to the B2B team, but to the entire Enteractive team. “I don’t know how the recruitment team does it, but everyone who joins Enteractive is just lovely”. From her previous experience it can be hard to maintain the sense of community across the whole company when there is a quick growth in employee numbers. At Enteractive, the HR and management teams have been committed to making sure the informal and friendly “Enteractive” approach has stuck, even while most of us were working from home during Covid-19.
Ciara’s favourite part about her job is getting to meet many new people. She gets to spend a lot of time chatting to clients and meeting their teams. Currently, it has been restricted to mostly virtual meetings, but she’s looking forward to meeting them in person when things return to normal.
In Ciara’s opinion, Enteractive’s greatest accomplishment is successfully reviving an ‘old school’ method of interacting with players that most people had completely written off. Even still, we get some clients questioning the efficacy of calls and their minds are always changed once they see the results.

Her favourite memory of her time at Enteractive was getting to go to ICE London with the B2B team. “It was my first year in the industry and it was a great experience to not only bond with my team, but also see how things are done and give me some career inspiration!”
